Our challenge for this campaign was to get attention around the HELOC product, but the term HELOC is not a term that someone would know unless they are in the financial or realtor markets. In order to create understanding and interest we turned HELOC into a verb and connected it with what it can do for the viewer.
Instead of a list of features and rates, we simplified it by connecting how it could help them in their lives. So the campaign became... HELOC'd it on a Vacation. HELOC'd it on a Pool. HELOC'd it on a Growing Family. HELOC'd it on a Wedding. HELOC'd it on a ManCave. And many more lifestyle needs. It created a disruptive and memorable message that connected outcomes with the product.
